Ted Landau’s User Friendly View: iCloud Predictions: Scoring My Crystal Ball
It’s not too often that one gets to make a collection of hefty predictions about Apple’s future direction and then have Apple officially confirm (or, as the case may be, deny) those predictions less than two weeks later. Yet this is exactly what just happened to me. Two weeks ago, I posted an article titled “ Mobile Me to iCloud: Lost in Translation .” In the column, I predicted precisely what services currently available in MobileMe would either survive or die in Apple’s move to iCloud later this year.
Ferrari golf cart won’t get you around the links any faster
A round of golf usually rolls out at a pretty leisurely pace, so I can understand why someone would want to speed things up a bit by zooming around the links in a Ferrari . This Enzo Ferrari inspired golf cart looks the business, but unfortunately underneath the skin, it's just a regular everyday golf cart
ATtiny13 Powered Handheld Helicopter Game
This helicopter game reminds me of the iPhone/web game where you control a helicopter that has to make its way through a maze/cavern that has various ups and downs, which you would have to avoid. The best score is calculated by how far you can make it without crashing. On the iPhone, navigation of the helicopter is controlled by touching the screen to make the helicopter fly up, and releasing to make the helicopter fall

The Ring Phone, A Phone You Can Wear On Your Finger
A couple of days ago we reported on a start up company’s concept about a miniature mouse, whose dimensions was a mere 1mmx1mm, which meant it could fit on anything. Well here we have a ring phone concept, by Shan Chen from China, which is supposed to double as an accessory and as a phone. We’re guessing this is probably a great concept, especially for the female market, who may not always find it convenient to bring a phone along, so with the ring phone they will be able to wear their phone on their finger, and people will probably just think it’s another accessory.
Freescale 77GHz radar system makes it safer to drive in difficult conditions
While some of us may live in a place where it’s sunny all the time, most of us aren’t so fortunate and have to endure difficult conditions when driving; heavy rain, fog, and even animals crossing the roads in the middle of the night. While you can be the most cautious person behind the wheel, sometimes it’s just impossible to see what’s in front of your car. Well, the folks over at Freescale have come up with a solution to the problem.

Last month Microsoft announced Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary at E3 and in case you weren’t paying attention then, it is the HD remake of the flagship Xbox game to celebrate the game’s 10 th birthday. Apple seeds iOS 5 beta 4 as an OTA update
It looks like we’re getting closer to the imminent release date of iOS 5 . The latest beta of the operating system (beta 4) has been pushed out to developers and for the first time in the history of iOS it updates without the use of a computer. Previously users needed to update their iOS devices by downloading the latest firmware onto their computers and then plugging their device in to update it.
